This week, at RWC Sunday class, the kids learned about a new Christian missionary. They were taught about the real-life story of a Colombian Martyr’s wife Kelly Saenz who was passionate about spreading the Gospel. Kelly’s husband Pabel Andrey was killed by the people he shared the Gospel. Despite the gruesome death which occurred to her husband, Kelly was courageous and strong enough to forgive the murderers of her husband thereby leading the whole village towards Christ. Through the life of this passionate missionary family, kids learned how to be ready to risk their lives for spreading God’s word and to be rooted in Christ at any cost. They also learned that they should forgive their enemies and remember them in their prayers.
The kids used their artistic craft skills in making fortune cups which helped them to learn the traits of the missionary character in a fun-filled way,
