Exploring the Faithfulness of God

This Quarter’s Focus: The Attributes of God
At RWC Sunday School, our new quarter started with a powerful and comforting truth: God is Faithful. Through stories, activities, and discussions, our children are learning that God’s character is unchanging—and His promises never fail.

This Week’s Lesson: God Provides in the Wilderness
Scripture Focus: Exodus 16
This week, our students explored how God remained faithful to the Israelites during their journey through the wilderness. Even when the people grumbled in hunger and fear, God responded with patience and provision. He sent manna from heaven, ensuring that every family had enough to eat each day.

Through this story, the children learned:
God hears our needs and responds with love.
God’s faithfulness doesn’t depend on our actions—He is always true to His promises.
Just as He provided for the Israelites, God provides for us today.

Learning Outcome:
• Gratitude and Trust: To express gratitude for God’s provision and learn to thank Him for meeting our daily needs.
Understanding Obedience : when God gives instructions, it is important to obey them, as He knows what is best for us.

✨ What We Did in Class

Story Time : We read and acted out the journey of the Israelites, bringing Exodus 16 to life.
Discussion : Kids shared times they’ve seen God provide in their own lives.
Games : We played fun filled manna and a glue game of collecting Manna with kids assuming that they are in the wilderness and collecting manna for the day that God has provided.

Memory Verse:
2 Timothy 2:13
If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

Psalms 138:8
The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
