Revival Waves of Christ
We warmly welcome you to the family and home of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:19–22, we strongly believe that Christ Jesus is our cornerstone, and every believer is a valued member of God’s family, a living stone called to help build His temple. Together, we are being built into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
We are a multiethnic and multicultural church family, firmly rooted in the Word of God and grounded in the truth of Galatians 3:28: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” We believe that when the Gospel is preached and lived out by a diverse people united in Christ, it becomes a powerful witness to the world. As it is written, “Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.” – Acts 2:5
We are passionate about loving God, growing in faith, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with others. We are committed to teaching the Word of God, worshiping together, and serving our community with compassion. We believe the church is more than a building. it is a family of people transformed by God’s grace through Jesus Christ.
As you walk this journey of faith, we humbly invite you to join us in knowing God more deeply, being filled with the Holy Spirit, finding freedom, and discovering your purpose. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we are continually being transformed into the image of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18; Romans 8:29). We believe that each one of us has a unique role in the kingdom of God, and our desire is to create a welcoming environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can encounter God, grow spiritually, and build meaningful relationships.

Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through meaningful corporate worship, deep engagement with Scripture, and passionate prayer—both individually and as a community. We are committed to reaching the unreached by sharing the Gospel and sending believers into their communities. Through this, we aim to build a strong, Christ-centered family that brings lasting, positive transformation to society
Our Vision
Our vision is to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel—people coming to know Christ, growing deeper in their faith, and serving others with love and purpose. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” We welcome all who are willing to serve the Lord. At RWC, we equip believers to grow in God’s Word, discover their spiritual gifts, and develop their strengths for ministry, empowering them to boldly proclaim the Gospel. Everyone has a role in building the Kingdom of God. Come let us serve the Lord together!
Our Story
In 2019, a small group of as few as six people, led by the Holy Spirit under the guidance of Pastor James B Pathrose, gathered together to worship the Lord and to reach the surrounding community with the love of Christ.
Moved by a burden to reach the unreached and ignite revival, the church was planted and named as “REVIVAL WAVES OF CHRIST (RWC)”. Since its inception, God has faithfully guided His children, and RWC has grown stronger and wider, embracing a multicultural congregation.
Today, this vibrant family of believers holds services in Tamil and English. United in Christ, RWC actively reaches out and serves communities not only locally but also internationally, including in India, Sri Lanka, El Salvador, Africa, and across Canada.
Today we look back and see how God has faithfully lead us and is leading us with grateful hearts. We serve Him with joy, humility and for the glory of Jesus. You can become part of this great history by joining hands with us, stepping into this family called “Revival Waves of Christ”
Our Beliefs

The Bible
We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority for faith and Christian living.
The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is fully God, equal in power and glory.
God the Father
We believe that God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is holy, loving, faithful, all-powerful, and worthy of our trust and worship.
Jesus Christ
We believe in the Great Commission commanded to us by Jesus Christ and we are committed to reaching unsaved and unchurched people locally, nationally and worldwide. We will use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple the people in our sphere of influence.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates those who believe in Christ, and indwells every believer. He guides, empowers, and equips believers for holy living and service.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through His sacrificial death and resurrection, those who repent and believe receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that water baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances given by Christ to the Church. Baptism symbolizes the believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, and the Lord’s Supper commemorates His sacrifice until He returns.
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, made up of all believers who have been born again. The local church exists to worship God, teach the Word, disciple believers, and share the Gospel with the world.
Resurrection and Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of the dead and the return of Jesus Christ. Those who trust in Him will receive eternal life.

James B Pathrose
Lead Pastor
I was born a Catholic, in south India, had practiced all rituals guided by devoted parents towards Catholic belief. Trained in priesthood formation, ministered in rural north India grew up like a missionary in north India, my heart is always thirsty for the lost souls.
Having travelled as far as the far-east to the middle east, lived in Africa for a while, God has shown how blessed we are and how much more is needed on the other side of the world. Thus, the passion to “reach the unreached” has brought me to be a part and leader in this divine family.
The grace of God has chosen me to be His servant and blessed me with lovely brothers and sisters in Christ as one family we call “Revival Waves of Christ”. I wish to be a fellow brother, friend, and team member as I believe together-we can do great things for the Lord.
The Revival begins from and within oneself, by the Holy Spirit is what I strongly believe. So, in identifying the ‘hidden you’ in you, I would love to assist anyone, help anyone to grow in the Lord and shine for the Lord. Blessings!
I was born in Newfoundland, Canada, to devoted parents and lived a fairly normal life until I had a life-changing encounter with Jesus. Since then, I’ve had a deep hunger for reaching lost souls. After more than 50 years of walking faithfully with the Lord, I continue to be overwhelmed by His goodness.
